Tony’s Collection #2: Deadpool (2008) #10

Deadpool (2008) #10

Tony’s Reaction (4.5/5) –

This issue ended up being quite the surprise for me. I actually got the chance to read this comic book before I purchased it not two hours later. I have a subscription to Marvel Unlimited and decided to read Deadpool (2008) starting with issue 1. The other day I read this issue and couldn’t help but laugh out loud the whole time.

My wife and I decided to go to the comic book store later that day. While there I looked for any issues of Deadpool (2008) and this just happens to be the only comic the store had. I mean what are the odds!?

Anyway, I loved this comic! I thought it was hilarious. It surprised me to see that Bullseye was as crazy as Deadpool, but in his own way. Watching them fight was great!

BULLSEYE PART 1 Norman Osborn is through playing around with Deadpool-it’s time to send in the big guns. The big, crazy guns that never, ever miss. He may be wearing a new costume, but he’s still the same ol’ psychopath…

Highlight –

My favorite part of this book was at the very beginning. A man refuses to pay for a pizza delivered to his house because he didn’t order it. Moments later we find out Deadpool ordered the pizza and did so to lure the pizza boy over so he could kill him as part of his job.

Deadpool holds homeowner and pizza delivery boy at gunpoint

I imagine this inspired one of the most memorable parts of the original Deadpool movie where he does the same thing, though the pizza boy doesn’t get killed in the movie. How sad… hahaha! I just thought that scene was brilliant in the movie, and it was even better in the comic book.

Fun fact –

While Deadpool is fighting Bullseye through this issue, Bullseye is disguised as Avengers’ Hawkeye.
